Our Story, by Roberta franklin
A journey rooted in family and fragrances
From a very young age, I watched my mom carefully choose candles and fragrances to create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere in our home. It wasn’t just a ritual for her— it was her way of showing love, bringing warmth, and making every celebration, every meal, every quiet moment before bed a little more special.
“I found myself more and more drawn to the world of fragrances. I was fascinated by how connected scents are to our emotions and memories. There’s something almost magical about the way a scent can take you back in time, bring back vivid memories, and transport the mind to distant places. It’s amazing how a fragrance can turn an ordinary moment into something extraordinary.”
The idea of Lila Franklin came to me during my second year of university. One morning, my mom and I found ourselves in the kitchen, surrounded by the soft light of the candles burning on the table. As we talked, I watched her smile with satisfaction, and I realized how much candles were a part of our lives.
Every time we lit a candle, it was like sparking a feeling, a memory, a bond. I was overwhelmed by a pure sense of happiness, fueled by our shared passion for fragrances and the joy they brought into our daily lives.

Our brand is much more than a business; it’s a legacy built on the bond between mother and daughter.
I wanted other people to experience the same magic we did: a magic made of delicate scents, of candles that illuminate moments of happiness, of small gestures that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. I realized that we had to create something of our own, something that captured all the love and attention to detail that my mom had always put into every candle lit, every essence chosen.
